The French Agency can directly deal with French transporters for you.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of French transporters:

La Poste

Their offer is based on Colissimo, with or without signature. It is a reliable transporter but more expensive than the competition on average. The advantage of La Poste’s offer lies in the flexibility of the delivery solutions it offers: home, relay point, post office, locker room, neighbour’s house, etc… With variations in delivery speed (Chronopost).

GLS

GLS delivers to homes and relay points in Europe. It is one of the cheapest carriers. The advantage of GLS is its speed, most packages are delivered the next day at a competitive cost but without any guarantee of delivery time.

In France, more and more customers refuse to order on an e-commerce site when delivery is made by GLS. Please note that the waiting period before the effective end of the contract is 4 months, with an obligation to maintain a level of 100% of orders placed.

Mondial Relay

Mondial Relay offers delivery in relay points. The service is well-known to consumers.  The number of relay points is important. The delays are relatively long, D+4 on average but at one of the most competitive costs. No pick-up possible below a certain volume of packages so you will have to bring your packages to the nearest relay point.

DPD

DPD is a subsidiary of Swiss Post. They offer a very good quality service and with great reliability at a higher price than the competition (but below those of La Poste). DPD delivers to your home or to a relay point and offers a pickup at your warehouse. Salespeople have some latitude for negotiation so don’t hesitate!

Private Package

It is an actor that seeks to gain market share with aggressive prices. Private parcel makes delivery in relay point and at home with pickup. They offer some of the lowest prices available but with an intermediate delivery speed: count 3 days on average.

DHL / TNT / UPS

Fast home delivery on D+1, very reliable but also more expensive.
